Google now offer the facility to create a mobile compatible web page for use with mobile search adverts. This brings AdWords broadly in line with Yahoo! mobile search offering which has always had a more info page.

The mobile page itself is pretty limited (see the Attacat example) to say the least. Whilst the mantra for good mobile site design seems to be post-it notes, personally I would prefer to see something a little less bare.

Would this not have been an opportunity for Google to provide a tool with the functionality and ease of use of Blogger to allow anybody to create a standards compliant mobile website? Something along the lines of Mofuse or Zinadoo perhaps?
