Having whinged last week about the lack of features on Google Maps, Google have now provided a nifty little tool for making your own annotated maps called My Maps.
I am pretty sure I don’t have the time to put little symbols on every map to help Google out with its featureless maps, but I did have a quick play with this new tool.
The end result is a little map to help people find parking spaces when they visit us.
This will no doubt have increasing implications for local search in the future and we will be keeping a close eye on it but in the meantime have a play by visiting Google Maps and clicking on the My Maps tab. (Useful how to guide here)
