Google have announced that they will be introducing new funnel reports in AdWords. In short, the reports will show which keywords led to a conversion, whether it be the ‘last click’ or not.This means that if someone is to search for ‘men’s shoes’ and clicks on an advert, then comes back to the site later by clicking on another advert having searched for say ‘men’s trainers’ – the report will show that the keyword ‘men’s shoes’ has led to a conversion.

Why is it useful to advertisers? Main benefit is that advertisers should no longer have to pause keywords that look like they are not converting, when they actually might be.

It looks like there’s going to be some nice new stats to get your hands on too, so more fun for the stataholics!Funnels
