I’m London bound next week for SMX Advanced and am about as hyped about going as my British reserve allows. I’ve also signed up as an official blog partner.
The Search Marketing Expo (SMX) is the brain child of Danny Sullivan who is widely regarded as the search engine world’s leading commentator, not to mention one of the most respected niche journalists in the world. He was the driver behind the long standing Search Engine Strategies conferences and set up the SMX conferences after deciding to go it alone.
The “Advanced” part of the conference name refers to the fact that this conference is aimed at experienced search marketers and the sessions “don’t stop to cover the basics”.
I’m going to be adding all my notes from each seminar, here on the Attacat Brain. I’ll aim to post them as soon as the seminars finish with view to then coming back to tidy them up and make more sense of them in due course. In other words I am using you to ensure that I take proper notes and revisit them. Where practical I’ll try to put a Scottish perspective on them.
I’m going to be going to the SEO and Social Media seminars (with a probable couple of exceptions).
If by any chance you want to come too, then you can use this promocode to get a 15% discount: ATTACAT010
