Yahoo! Search Marketing
The name emerged in 2005 but the product was the original PPC provider. In the 1990s it was known as GoTo and then became Overture. Yahoo! bought Overture and then rebranding it for a third time to Yahoo! Search Marketing Solutions. YSM for short.

YSM have reduced their minimum required bid on many phrases from 10p to 5p. It's good news but we argue that they have nothing to lose by reducing it to 1p.
