Searchers who are looking for local businesses on Google Maps can now see brief descriptive characteristics included in the primary business listing. Full article


2.2 billion local queries on Google

ComScore has released it’s May 2011 search marketing figures which shows that Google had 11.2 billion queries last month. Applying the figure released by Google that states that 20% of searches have local intent we can estimate that in May roughly 2.24 billion queries on Google were local. Full article
