Online advertising grew 12.8% in 2010 to break through the £4billion barrier. A recent study by the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) and the accountants PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) found that online advertising spend grew three times as quickly as in 2009. The area that experienced the highest level of growth was display advertising on social networks which grew by nearly 200%. Read more here.
