We are looking for an SEO enthusiast to play a key role in delivering growth for our clients. To a large extent we will craft the role around your experience and ambition.
You might see this as an opportunity to be part of a great team where SEO is part of the DNA or an opportunity to develop your existing skills and become a more experienced SEO practitioner or a combination of both! What’s important is you have a passion and aptitude for delivering great SEO work.
You will join our Inbound marketing team, all of whom have high levels of SEO knowledge but with limited time to spend on SEO tasks. Your role will be to:
- Act as a dedicated SEO specialist on the team, delivering SEO work in conjunction with the Inbound marketing managers
- Take responsibility for all our clients’ SEO strategy and ranking progress
- Generally keep our SEO offering moving forward and keeping the team’s SEO skills up to date
Strategy and delivery
Our approach to SEO is very much one of seeking to identify opportunities to attract customers via search and then working to provide the best possible experience for the searcher. You would need to be completely on board with that approach and have the technical and marketing knowledge required to deliver improved rankings.
In the day-to-day of the role you will be required to carry out some or all of the following:
- Keyword research
- Technical SEO audits
- Content audits
- Rank and revenue monitoring
- Recommendation-based reporting
- SEO site migrations
- Making recommendations as part of overall marketing strategies
- Monitoring and management of continuous improvement
You will need to combine this expertise with the ability to communicate and deliver change.
Anywhere between one year and a working lifetime of dedicated SEO experience.
Salary and benefits
Salary in line with expertise. Additional benefits include generous profitshare, private medical insurance, pension, enhanced parental leave, and generous holidays.
Our office is in Edinburgh and we believe that work is more fun when we can be together in the office for at least two days a week. We are however open to fully remote working.
You will be expected to continually increase your professional skills and ensure you have all the relevant Google certifications
