I’ve known it for a while but I now need to get it off my chest. Google Maps is a tremendous product. The idea of map based searching, is to me a very exciting one and Google’s efforts in this regard are, in my mind pretty impressive.
When I first spotted that Google Local (now just Google Maps) failed to properly target the sponsored links to a search, I assumed this was just an oversight. But that was over a year ago and the same situation still exists today.
